THE REAL FIGHT!!

Starting with a good quote -

"WHEN YOU FOCUS ON GOOD, THE GOOD GETS BETTER"

Hi everyone,

I know the situation is critical for some of you and for some this pandemic is a real disaster. But as I said FOCUS ON THE GOOD IT WILL BRING BETTER. May be not today, may be not tomorrow. But YES, may be in an hour or day after.

Just wanted to share this because living a life with diabetes isn’t easy. It isn’t easy for all of us these days. But diabetes and covid-19 is genuinely like “A HUGE CHERRY ON A SWEET DESSER”. We all are locked inside for more than a month. Normal people stress, take medicine and feel all OKAY!!

But we fellow with diabetes stress a little and result being high the whole day. All we can do is indulge ourselves in some or the other activities / work so that we dont think much. But wait, did I said work? Again, if we work more and relax less we will have high sugar levels.

For a mood change if we eat something extra without injecting extra insulin we are high again and feel anxious. In case we skip our meal and do not feel like eating we feel low(low blood sugars). ERRORS!! again and again on frequent basis disturbs our mental health.

It’s obvious we cannot go out for a ride or a walk to freshen up our minds. Hence, sometimes it becomes frustrating. Right?? and you know what’s next?? We end up being high. I am not talking anything negative, its just the truth that we accept and we have to accept. I and my friends with diabetes are experiencing this. The situation has made us feel little nervous and scared. This situation is more dangerous for people like us because if we are tested positive we will end being negative, not for 14-21 days but for 4-6 months. As we have slow recovery process. I request all my diabetic gems not to stress. I request them to TALK. Talk to your family, your friends or whom so ever you love to share things with. If not anyone then me. I am always up for you all. This will help you a little and you will get hope to stay stronger.

After these all criteria there’s one thing inside every diabetic person and i.e.,we smile. We smile no matter how critical the situation will be. We laugh, because we know we will take this further and make it possible.

WE BUILD HOPE FOR OURSELVES.

WE TRUST OURSELVES.

WE PUSH OURSELVES TO STANF AGAIN.

WE DANCE.

WE SING.

WE WRITE.

WE RUN.

WE DO A LOT MORE THAN WHAT A NORMAL PERSON DOES TO MAKE HIM HAPPY.

WE ARE ACTUALLY FIGHTING.

FIGHTING TO STAY STRONG.

FIGHTING FOR OUR LIVES.

WE ARE THE WARRIORS.

WE ARE SPECIAL, WE ARE UNIQUE.

WE ARE DREAMERS, WE ARE THE FLAME.

NEVERTHELESS WE ARE BRAVE.
